She has extensive experience helping groups and organizations develop leadership and build capacity that increases the impact, effectiveness, and quality of their programs and system change initiatives. She holds a Bachelor's of Art in Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master's of Political Science from Rutgers University. Monica is a life-long learner and champion of collective leadership. She has been in several roles in the early childhood system: parent, early childhood teacher, child care center director, early childhood quality improvement and professional development coordinator, and adjunct faculty. She works to build organizational and individual capacity through mentoring, coaching, advocacy, and engaging professional development. She holds a Bachelor's of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Utah and a Master's of Social Work from Arizona State University.
